Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before completing your booking. By making a reservation at Zamenhof River Cabin, you agree to be bound by these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.

1. Booking & Payment

•All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
•Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
•Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
•A booking confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address upon successful payment.
•By completing a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

•Full refund if you cancel within 14 days of the original booking date, provided your check-in is more than 14 days away.
•Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable.
•No refunds will be issued for early departures or unused nights.
•In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund.
•To cancel, please contact us directly via phone or email.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

•Check-in time is from 2:00 PM on your arrival date.
•Check-out time is by 10:00 AM on your departure date.
•Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
•A welcome pack with full arrival instructions will be sent on the morning of your check-in date.

4. Guest Responsibilities

•Guests are responsible for the property and its contents during their stay.
•The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure.
•Any damage, breakage, or loss caused by guests will be charged to the guest at replacement or repair cost.
•Guests must comply with all instructions provided in the welcome pack and any reasonable requests from the host.
•The maximum occupancy of the property is 4 guests. Exceeding this limit is not permitted.
•Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
•Fireworks are not permitted on the property at any time.

5. Children

•Children are welcome at Zamenhof River Cabin.
•Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the stay.
•The property is situated on a working farm with open land, a river, and farm animals nearby. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the safety and supervision of children at all times.
•Guests with children should take particular care around the river, fire pit, and farm areas.
•The host accepts no liability for any accidents or injuries involving unsupervised children.

6. Pets

•Well-behaved pets are welcome at Zamenhof River Cabin — please let us know in advance if you are bringing a pet.
•All dogs and other animals must be kept under effective control at all times while on the property.
•Dogs must be kept on a lead when outside the fenced yard area, particularly near the river, trails, and farm animals.
•Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets to the property or its surroundings.
•Pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of responsibly.
•Pets are not permitted inside the cabin unless prior written permission has been granted by the host.
•The host reserves the right to ask guests to remove a pet from the property if it poses a risk to other animals or guests.

7. Fire Safety

•The use of the campfire pit is subject to fire danger ratings issued by the NSW Rural Fire Service.
•No fires are permitted on days of Total Fire Ban — it is the guest's responsibility to check the current fire danger rating at rfs.nsw.gov.au.
•The campfire must never be left unattended and must be fully extinguished before guests retire for the night.
•Guests must follow all fire safety instructions provided by the host.
•Any costs associated with a fire emergency caused by guest negligence will be the guest's responsibility.

8. Noise & Neighbours

•Guests are expected to be respectful of the peaceful nature of the property and surrounding area.
•Excessive noise, particularly between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, is not permitted.
•Parties or large gatherings beyond the stated maximum occupancy are strictly prohibited.

9. Liability

•Zamenhof River Cabin and its hosts accept no responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
•Guests stay at their own risk. The property is situated in a rural environment and guests should take reasonable precautions.
•The host is not liable for any disruption caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to extreme weather, power outages, or internet outages.

10. Privacy

•Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of managing your stay and sending relevant communications.
•We do not share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
•By booking with us, you consent to receiving booking confirmations, welcome packs, and post-stay follow-up emails.

11. Governing Law

•These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
•Any disputes arising from a booking will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
